10 Things…
Hello everybody!
We are back in the swing of things – and can we just say… man, it feels good! We both thoroughly enjoy hearing, sharing, and learning from each story. So a huge thank you to those who have participated in the podcast!
Along the lines of being back and pushing forward, we thought you guys should get to know us a little more. Isn’t that fun?
We think so! Below we’ve shared “10 things you may not know”
Maria, kick us off….
Ok, here are 10 things you likely don’t know about me.
• I grew up playing basketball, soccer and lacrosse. Lacrosse was my #1 fave, but I’m not as good as my newsworthy cousins (google Kenzie Kent).
• Growing up I spent many summers with my Yiayia in Naxos, Greece.
• In college I interned for MTV in Time Square.
• I have an unhealthy obsession with Bravo. I spent a week of my maternity leave watching RHONY from the beginning.
• I have a photographic memory.
• I can talk sports with the guys - one of my oldest friends is someone I met in school when he was amazed a girl knew so much about sports 🤣
• Mike and I collect Christmas ornaments from every new place we travel to. We’re sentimental like that.
• I once met Dennis Rodman at a Cheesecake Factory.
• One of the most impactful experiences of my life was attending a camp called Ionian Village in Greece. It was at that camp that I visited Saint Nektarios monastery. That’s why Nektarios is my sons middle name.
• Mike and my favorite thing is trying new recipes. We love cooking together and even keep old school recipe cards.
That’s it for me! Sending it back to you, Rachael …
AY! Here are mine!
• I am uber afraid of birds and would always choose to take the stairs over elevators. Floor 12 is my cut off.
• I am insanely obsessed with Justin Timberlake and Tupac.
• My husband proposed to me in the middle of a piazza, a few hours before the polio in Sienna, Italy.
• Both my children were delivered c-section because of their size
• I won class comedian in 8th grade.
• I like to graze throughout the day instead of eating set meals.
• I can pick items up off the floor with my feet (my dad used to do this too).
• I have 4 tattoos.
• I can go 0 to 100 in a matter of seconds (Hungarian and Italian heritage… go figure).
• If I could live anywhere I’ve traveled it would be Costa Rica
Hope you enjoyed learning a little bit more about your hosts! Take care, friends! -M&R
