A Brain Healthy Smoothie Recipe by NeuroReserve

Today we hosted a live where we walked through the components of the smoothie below and what the various ingredients do to support our brain healthy. It can feel overwhelming for some people to think about overhauling their entire diet, but starting small with sustainable changes it the best way to go. Start enjoying this brain-healthy smoothie below, make it a habit and then start something new.

Blueberry, Cauliflower and Spinach Smoothie by NeuroReserve, Inc.

  • ½ cup of frozen blueberries (or any berries)

  • ½ cup of spinach (or any leafy green)

  • ½ cup of frozen cauliflower

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 date (or drizzle of honey, maple syrup, or omit)

  • 2 tbsp of almond butter (or any nut butter)

  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds (or hemp seeds, flax meal)

  • 1.5 cups of cashew milk (or any nut milk)

  • Handful of ice

Add cashew milk to blender, then add the rest of the ingredients.  Blend well until consistency is smooth.  Enjoy!
